Third Stage
A concert for piano and orchestra. You can choose one of the following:
The change in repertoire for the third stage was done exclusively for the Seventh Edition in 2021, due to sanitary restrictions and the requirement to have a reduced number of musicians on stage.
The third stage is divided in semifinal and final. The semifinal is going to be conducted with a professional accompanist, chosen by the Organizational Committee. If the participant wants to bring his/her own accompanist, he/she can do so, but the expenses must be paid for by the participant. The first three places, not defined at that moment, will participate in the Grand Finale of the Competition, accompanied by the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra on Friday, December 3rd 2021. After the concert, the winner and the second and third places are going to be announced. Furthermore the public is going to have the opportunity to choose its favorite finalist from the final stage with the Orchestra.
* The Winner and the finalists will be defined after averaging out their grades from all of the Competition's stages.
